ChildAid

ChildAid is Singapore’s largest annual children’s charity concert. It supports The Straits Times Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund. The former pays for socially disadvantaged school-going children's meals and transport fees, while the latter supports financially disadvantaged children's lessons in the performing arts. A long-running supporter, RWS is Official Venue Partner for ChildAid in 2009, 2010, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

2018

The return of ChildAid 2018 to Resorts World Theatre saw 143 performers, aged five to 19, dancing and singing their hearts out at the concert themed Jumpin’ Jukebox Jive, with pop hits from the 1960s to the present day. The young performers' efforts helped to raise over S$2 million this year.

2017

The 2017 edition broke new grounds with the staging of a 90-minute show – An Amazing, Awesome Asian Adventure – making it the first ChildAid concert since inception in 2005 to feature a narrative journey. More than 190 children performers dazzled the audience in Resorts World Theatre, raising over S$2.1 million.

2016

In November 2016, Resorts World Sentosa welcomed ChildAid back for its 12th edition themed Living Dreams, channeling the spirit of motivated youths who aspire to live their dreams. This year, more than S$2 million was raised to help children and youth with school pocket money and to provide structured arts training programmes to develop young artistic talents.
