Exquisite Sichuan Delight
Embark on a flavorful journey along with Michelin-starred chef to rediscover the authentic taste of Sichuan Cuisine. Resorts World Sentosa partners with one-Michelin-star restaurant Yong, presenting a feast of inherent flavors.
Featuring Chef Zhang Jian from Yong who meticulously selects seasonal ingredients, respects the original flavor of nature, and combines them with refined culinary skills. Taking soup as the base, ingredients as the frame, and seasonings as the essence, Chef Zhang delivers and carries forward the innate taste.
Restaurant’s Specialty
Founded in 2022 in the Xi’an Garden of Guangzhou's Yuexiu District, Yong is an authentic Sichuan cuisine restaurant dedicated to restoring the original flavour of China and reshaping the world’s gastronomic circles. The name of the restaurant draws inspiration from a masterpiece of Chinese literature – the Lanting Xu (Preface of the Orchid Pavilion) by Wang Xizhi – which is often revered as the best running calligraphy and the place “Lanting” has since perceived by countless literati as a place of purification and contemplation. Dedicated to reproducing the charm and essence of traditional Chinese food culture, Yong incorporates beautiful produce from China’s vast landscapes and winding coastlines. Call it the millennium commercial port or culinary center of the world, Guangzhou has exciting stories to explore, and that’s where Yong is located, more specifically in the cultural landmark of the city - Dongshan Xinhepu. Combining vintage culture and contemporary creativity with a touch of intimacy, Yong represents the vision of the brand and the path to achieve it.
