This summer, the S.E.A. Aquarium is calling for all ocean-loving kids to embark on an ocean expedition at the Junior Ocean Protector Camp, ending on 26 Jun.
Your little ones can expect a summer camp like no other. In addition to exclusive workshop and activities specially curated to learn about ocean conservation, they will have the opportunity for up-close encounters with the wondrous marine animals. Think ocean’s apex predator, sharks, or the cetacean i.e. the intelligent and playful Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins. The camp even ends off with a cosy picnic with their new friends!
Who knows? This unique experience might just spark a new-found passion for the ocean in your child. This is all the more important with the oceans losing its colours due to global warming and human activity. Discover the importance of our incredible marine biodiversity in celebration of World Oceans Day at the Ocean Fest.
Can you imagine a colourless ocean? We can’t and we absolutely do not wish for it to happen. Thus, we shed light on the importance of protecting the seas before they become A Colourless Ocean this year through interactive art installations, engaging workshops and even a beach clean-up.
Find yourself immersed in an ethereal art installation - OBNOVA - by local award-winning multi-disciplinary artist, Rizman Putra at the Shipwreck Gallery. Through OBNOVA, we hope to give you a glimpse of how an ideal future would look like with a restored and flourishing oceanscape. Beyond that, pick up some microplastics at The Ayer Ayer Shore Table, an interactive table sculpture where you’ll find microplastics collected from the shorelines of Singapore and Malaysia. Whether you choose to create colourful mosaic artworks to bring home or to be part of the Pledge Wall, you’ll definitely walk away with a deeper understanding of how these microplastics have a negative impact on our environment.

With aplenty of attractions and activities available at the Resort, there is never a dull moment here. Skip the mundanes of your dailies and lose yourself in a day of fun at Universal Studios Singapore. Meet your favourite stars and even get your groove on with Minions from Illumination’s Minions 2: The Rise of Gru for a Groovy Summer!
The all-day extravaganza will take you back to the grooviest decade with Minions Kevin, Stuart and Bob, along with the newest member Otto. Look forward to filling your tummy with exclusively created Minions-themed food and drinks that are so despicably cute, they will definitely put a smile on your face.
