Insider Tips to Maximise Your Time at Universal Studios Singapore
Purchased admission tickets to Universal Studios Singapore with your SingapoRediscovers vouchers? Perfect! With 24 rides, attractions and shows spread across seven zones, there’s plenty to keep you thrilled and entertained at the theme park. But for a truly unforgettable experience, here are some insider tips to maximise your time:
1. Make a reservation
As a SG Clean accredited organisation, we’ve implemented enhanced safe management measures at the resort to ensure your safety. Among the comprehensive measures is an advanced reservation system where Annual or Season Passholders and guests with the following type of tickets are required to make a reservation prior to visiting the park:
- Tickets with no fixed dates (e.g. valid from 1 July to 30 September)
- Tickets purchased before 30 June 2020, with date of visit from 6 April 2020
- Annual or Season Pass Tickets with no fixed dates (e.g. valid from 1 July to 30 September)
- Annual or Season Pass Tickets purchased before 30 June 2020, with date of visit from 6 April 2020
- Annual or Season Pass collection slips
- Annual or Season Pass (physical or e-Card)
Advanced reservation is also applicable to tickets purchased from resellers, online platforms or Travel Agents. For guests holding on to reseller vouchers, redemption of tickets will be available at ticketing booths subject to availability on the same day. However, do take note that children below the age of four need not make a reservation prior to visiting.
2. Start the day early
Now that you’ve gotten your tickets and date of visit sorted, it’s time to start your day at Universal Studios Singapore. SG Resident tickets are inclusive of early entry to the park from 12pm – 2pm, where you can look forward to exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with characters, as well as an early lunch in the park. Plus, be the first in the queue for your favourite rides when they start at 2pm! If you’re an annual or season passholder, you may also purchase the Priority Entry Special here.
3. Information at your fingertips
Wanna check out the park’s map, check wait times for rides, or know when your favourite characters will appear? Get all the information you need at your fingertips by downloading the official Universal Studios Singapore mobile app on the App Store or Google Play. And if you need access to WiFi within Universal Studios Singapore, simply log on to GuestWifi@RWS!
4. Navigate the park like a pro
Once you arrive at Universal Studios Singapore, should you begin your adventure to the left or the right side of the park? Well, here’s a pro tip: those with children may want to start from the left for more family-friendly experiences in the Madagascar and Far Far Away zones, whilst thrill-seekers should head right towards adrenaline-pumping attractions such as TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, and Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs CYLON – both at the Sci-Fi City zone.
5. Live the VIP life at Universal Studios Singapore
For a truly red-carpet experience, look no further than the VIP Experience. Get to know the theme park from an insider’s perspective (read: our friendly VIP Tour Guides), and skip the regular queues via the priority access route for almost all attractions! Plus, you’ll get to enter our live shows earlier (with reserved seats!), spend time with popular characters during meet & greet sessions, and receive meal vouchers to dine at our in-park restaurants. Doesn’t it sound fantastic already? Book your VIP Experience - just take note that advanced reservation is required.
