World-class sustainability practices

Our mission is to be a global leader in sustainable tourism. To achieve this, we’ve developed a Sustainability Framework and 2030 Master Plan that outlines our goals towards achieving carbon neutrality, creating positive socio-economic impact, and to better serve current and future generations.
MICE - Sustainability

Green energy storage and battery solutions

Our grounds host one of Singapore's largest solar photovoltaic systems in the hospitality sector. We are currently working on increasing our renewable energy capacity fourfold by installing new solar panels at 11 sites on premises.

MICE - Sustainability

Water conservation and biodigester systems

We reclaim and repurpose resources for cooling towers and use harvested rainwater for landscaping purposes on our premises. Additionally, we have installed food grinders and biodigesters in our kitchens to greatly reduce the amount of food waste sent to landfills.

MICE - Sustainability

Zero waste to landfill efforts

We offer eco-friendly meal packaging, cutlery, pens, and recycled paper at the events we host. This helps us achieve a waste to landfill diversion rate of over 30% and enables recycling across 10 waste streams – including plastic, paper, and horticultural waste.
MICE - Sustainability

Innovation in conservation and decarbonisation

We are providing S$10 million in funding for the RWS-NUS Living Laboratory. This 5-year research collaboration aims to advance marine science, protect Singapore's biodiversity, and develop innovative decarbonisation solutions to tackle real-world challenges.

MICE - Sustainability

Local businesses advocacy

We prioritise finding sustainable sources for our key materials while maintaining their quality. Furthermore, we ensure that 88% of our products and services are locally sourced, which supports the local supply chain and reduces our carbon footprint.
