Birthed in the 1800s when Chinese immigrants incorporated Peru’s culinary heritage, it’s now a celebrated part of the nation’s identity. Savour it at Singapore’s first Chifa restaurant where the spirited flavours of Peru meet the boldness of Chinese cuisine.

Chef Ruben Rodrigo Serrano Cabrera
Chef Rodrigo blends nostalgic childhood memories with innovative flavours at Chifa, inspired by his Peruvian culture and background.
Trained under renowned Peruvian chefs Virgilio Martínez and Karime Moreno, and mentored by Hernán Castañeda, his menu is dedicated to crafting inventive dishes that introduce guests to the vibrant essence of Peruvian Chinese cuisine.
Outside the kitchen, he enjoys family, friends, and exploring new culinary experiences.
