What can I expect?

As a Halloween Horror Nights 13 scareactor, you will:

• Perform in haunted houses and scare zones
  
• Wear character costumes
  
• Wear masks or theatrical make-up
  
• Work through each event night in an energy-demanding role

What is the work environment like?
Halloween Horror Nights 13 scareactors perform in haunted houses and scare zones within Universal Studios Singapore. You will find yourself working in spaces that are designed to evoke terror.
There will be use of darkness, strobe-lighting, lasers, disturbing audio, smoke and other effects.
These haunted houses and scare zones may be indoors or outdoors, so one should expect to work in a variety of temperatures.
Each performance set is no longer than 45 minutes, after which scareactors rest in their designated spaces, where refreshments are available.

What does it take?

To be a scareactor at Halloween Horror Nights 13, you must be willing to act and able to take direction. We are looking for individuals who are talented, versatile and enthusiastic.

You should also be in good physical health as the haunted houses and scare zones would be physically demanding spaces to work in. You will find need for good stamina and endurance.

In addition, do consider the following before coming to audition:

• Are you afraid of the dark and tight spaces?
  
• Does the sight of blood or gore (special effects makeup) affect you?
  
• Do you have trouble breathing in masks?
  
• Are you able to commit to all rehearsals and event dates?
  
• Experience in action or scareacting is a bonus but absolutely not a necessity. Paid training and rehearsal time will be provided.

Contract Length
The contract length is only for the Halloween period (September 2025 to November 2025) (Inclusive of fittings and rehearsals)

Age Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years of age on the day of the audition.
Applicants must be a Singapore Citizen / PR to be hired.

Special Talents
To deliver a variety of terrifying experiences to guests at Halloween Horror Nights 13, we are in search of acts/performers of the weird and wonderful, grotesque yet sassy, or something that pushes the boundaries beyond your wildest imagination! If you can make our worst nightmares come to life, WE WANT YOU!

We are particularly interested in:

• Stilt-Walkers
  
• Dancers
  
• Male Bodybuilders (willingness to perform shirtless)
  
• Parkour
  
• Gymnasts
  
• Magic
  
• Anything Bizarre, Grotesque, Jaw-dropping
  

Acts of 'death defying' nature are a huge advantage. All acts must be adaptable to Halloween theme.
