Well, it’s now possible with S.E.A. Aquarium’s new Augmented Reality (AR) feature that’s compatible for use on both Apple and Android mobile devices. And there’s no need to download a mobile app for it - try it out with your web browser here.
Get up close and personal with marine animals via a 360 degree view of our Ocean Dome
How it’s done:
1. Click in via your mobile browser and get transported straight to the Ocean Dome.
2. Swipe to get to each animal, or simply rotate your device around for an immersive 360-degree view.
3. Click on the yellow cross button to find out more about each animal.
4. Invite the animals into your space by tapping on the white AR button, and follow the instructions and wait for the marine creature to appear.
5. To adjust the size of the animal within your space, pinch in and out on your screen.
Now that you’re all set, it’s time to have fun rotating your mobile device and watch as a sea jelly drifts atop your sofa. And do look out for that moray eel slithering around your living room!
