Successful applicants will be part of our world class entertainment program, including daily operations and seasonal events. Audition Requirements

SINGER-DANCER

Singer-Dancers

 

Seeking individuals with a strong vocal range and the ability to showcase a variety of dance styles. You must be comfortable to lead a show through scripted and non-scripted dialogue. Improvisational skill is a plus. For callback, you may be asked to learn additional songs with an extensive dance combination.

SINGAPORE LIVE AUDITION GUIDELINES

Date: 29 March 2025, Saturday
Registration: 11am to 1pm 
Location: Resorts World Convention Centre - Leo Room 1 
Audition Time:   12 noon to 5pm, *6pm to 8pm (callback only)

  • You are required to prepare and bring along your own music to accompany the performance (preferably in MP3 format).
  • Choose a song that showcases your personality and features your vocal range.
  • If you succeed in the singing audition, you will be required to stay on for the following dance audition.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a callback singing session on the same day. Singapore-bound audition candidates, please ensure to allocate extra time to accommodate the callback session.

Breakdance, acrobatics, and a great personality are essential. The ability to host with a microphone, engage and hype up the crowd will be a plus.

  • A dance routine will be taught on the audition day.
  • You may be asked to improvise by the panelist, in evaluating your acting or movement skills.
  • Wear form-fitting dance attire and appropriate shoes for athletic choreography.

VOICE ACTOR

Voice Actor

 

Strong scripted actor with improvisational skills and good comedic timing. 

1. This role requires the ability to impersonate the voice of Donkey, the funny noble steed, from DreamWorks SHREK. Puppeteering experience is a plus as you will need to perform multiple tasks at one time.

2. This role requires skilled vocal individuals to portray Optimus Prime and Megatron from the "Transformers" franchise. You must be able to sustain the voice for extended periods of time while maintaining character integrity with guest interactions. Proficient in spoken English.

SHOW HOST & PUPPETEERS

Show Host & Puppeteers

 

Show Host requires individuals who are energetic, charming, adore family audiences, and the outdoors. You will need to be articulate in English and comfortable engaging guests with scripted lines and/or improvised conversation.

Puppeteer, experience with (i)hand & rod or (ii)full-body puppets is preferred, but we will consider individuals who are keen learners and demonstrates natural ability. You should be between (i)163cm-173cm and (ii)170cm-180cm, healthy with a strong core as you will be required to support the weight of a puppet and can move with dexterity and co-ordination.

FACE CHARACTER

Face Character

 

As a Face Character, you’ll need to bring the energy and charm as you deliver unforgettable IP Meet & Greet moments. You should adore family audiences, the outdoors and a great attitude. You’ll need to embody iconic characters, be articulate in English and comfortable engaging guests with scripted lines and/or improvised conversation.

We are seeking both male and female performers who closely resemble iconic DreamWorks characters in appearance, personality, and energy.

Requirements:

  • Females: Height between 165-170cm
  • Males: Height between 175-185cm
  • Strong improvisational and interactive skills for engaging with guests.
  • Comfortable performing in full costume, including wigs, makeup, and prosthetics.
  • Must be able to work in an energetic environment and bring characters to life with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to perform in costume, including wigs, prosthetics, and character makeup.
  • Strong improvisational and interactive performance skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with guests and posing for photos.

Must be able to perform various styles of dance such as hip-hop, musical theatre, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. You will also be required to cover other performance-based roles pending casting needs by the Creative Team.

STILTWALKER & POWERSKIP

Stiltwalker & Powerskip

 

You are required to have a good sense of balance and rhythm. Dance background is a plus. This role requires donning costume elements on head, shoulders, and legs. Successful candidates must be in good health, physically fit, have strong core and back muscles. For call-back session, a body conditioning video featuring a series of exercises and skills will be provided to complete and submit.

  • You will be required to participate in a physical assessment and body conditioning routine during the audition.
  • You may be asked to reveal your physique for assessment by the panelist (male candidates only).
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to do a trial where you walk on stilts during the audition process.
  • Be sure to dress appropriately and comfortably for the audition.

ANIMATED CHARACTERS

Animated Characters

 

Animated characters provide fun and memorable interactions during meet-and-greet sets with guests. These interactions include improvisation, choreography, staging, and posing for photographs. You should have an outgoing and larger-than-life personality, energetic, and be in good physical condition. The ability to learn choreography is preferred. All character roles are height specific ranges between 135cm - 193cm.
