DINO-A-LIVE Singapore: Show, Tickets & Hotel Packages
Looking for exciting things to do with kids in Singapore during the December school holidays? Fifteen life-sized dinosaurs are coming to Resorts World Sentosa when the acclaimed Japanese live dinosaur experience DINO-A-LIVE brings DINOSAUR ODYSSEY to Singapore.
Running for a limited season from 3 to 6 December 2026, the approximately 70-minute production combines life-sized moving dinosaurs with music, dance, immersive visuals and theatrical effects. It will be DINO-A-LIVE’s first large-scale indoor production outside Japan, giving families the chance to encounter realistic dinosaurs moving and roaring remarkably close to the audience.
Families can attend the show as a day visit or turn the experience into a minimum two-night stay at Hotel Ora or The Laurus. The hotel packages combine accommodation, breakfast, Singapore Oceanarium admission and DINOSAUR ODYSSEY tickets for two adults and one child.
This guide compares the hotel packages before covering showtimes, individual ticket prices, admission rules and everything else families need to plan their visit.
Plan a DINO-A-LIVE family staycation at Resorts World Sentosa
The DINO-A-LIVE hotel packages are designed for families who want to experience more than the performance alone. Instead of arranging accommodation, attraction admission and show tickets separately, each package brings the main parts of the trip together in one booking.
Packages are available for stays from 2 to 7 December 2026. The included DINOSAUR ODYSSEY tickets are for the 8pm performance on the second day of the stay, giving families a clear showtime around which to plan their Singapore Oceanarium visit, meals and other activities.

It may suit families looking for a practical two-night stay with Category 2 show tickets and Singapore Oceanarium admission already included.
Choose The Laurus for a more spacious and premium stay. The Laurus package includes a 72 sqm Deluxe Suite, Category 1 show tickets and the Dinosaur Photo Experience. It may be better suited to families who value additional space, upgraded ticket seating and a professional photograph with the life-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex.
If your family only wants to attend DINOSAUR ODYSSEY, individual show tickets provide the more straightforward option. The hotel packages offer greater relevance when accommodation and a Singapore Oceanarium visit are already part of your plans.

What is DINO-A-LIVE PREMIUM | DINOSAUR ODYSSEY?
DINOSAUR ODYSSEY is an immersive live dinosaur show created in Japan. Unlike a conventional dinosaur exhibition featuring static models or dinosaurs viewed on screens, the production places audiences in the same performance space as life-sized dinosaurs that move freely around them.
The dinosaurs blink, breathe, shift their muscles and move with the physical characteristics of living creatures. From subtle movements to powerful footsteps and roars, every detail is designed to create the sensation that the audience has entered a prehistoric world.
The experience is brought to life using DINO-TECHNE, a self-supporting dinosaur-shaped mechanical suit developed by Japanese company ON-ART over more than 20 years. The technology is patented in 14 countries as of 2026, with each dinosaur operated by a specially trained pilot.
DINOSAUR ODYSSEY has attracted more than 25,000 attendees in Japan. Its Singapore debut will be the production’s first large-scale indoor presentation outside Japan.
What happens during DINOSAUR ODYSSEY?
The non-verbal production takes audiences back to a time before humankind, following the development of life and the prehistoric world through dinosaurs, nature and changing environments.
Rather than relying on spoken dialogue, the story is conveyed through:
- Life-sized moving dinosaurs
- Music and dance
- Theatrical lighting and sound
- Immersive projections
- Plants, flowers and other depictions of nature
- Special effects that transform the performance space
The story explores survival, family, instinct and the cycle of life, building towards a dramatic confrontation between Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops. Its non-verbal format makes the experience accessible to local and international audiences while allowing children and adults to focus on the movement, scale and visual storytelling.
Which dinosaurs will appear?
Each performance will feature 15 life-sized dinosaurs. The prehistoric line-up includes:
- Stegosaurus
- Brachiosaurus
- Ankylosaurus
- Parasaurolophus
- Utahraptor
- Triceratops
- Suchomimus
- Tyrannosaurus
- Dakotaraptor
- Allosaurus
The dinosaurs move through the performance space rather than remaining confined to a conventional stage, allowing audiences to appreciate their scale and details at unusually close range.
Is DINOSAUR ODYSSEY suitable for children?
DINOSAUR ODYSSEY is designed as a family entertainment experience for children, adults and different generations to enjoy together.
However, the production features large moving dinosaurs, sudden movements, loud sounds, darkness, theatrical lighting, projections and other immersive effects. Parents and guardians should use their discretion when bringing younger children who may be sensitive to these elements.
Important admission and safety information:
- The production carries a General rating.
