Play Sustainably With Us
Building Responsibly
We used low carbon footprint building materials to construct Illumination’s Minion Land. Up to 80% of our building and landscape products used were highly rated under the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) Certification Scheme.
The Universal Studios Singapore Lagoon acts as a rainwater catchment. We save water by using the collected rainwater to irrigate our resort landscapes.
With new solar panels installed at Illumination’s Minion Land, we now have over 1,500 solar panels at Universal Studios Singapore! We’ve also added solar panels across new builds like Singapore Oceanarium and The Laurus, quadrupling our solar capacity since 2022.
Our attractions’ cooling demand is met by our centralised District Cooling Plant (DCP), creating a balance between your comfort and energy savings.
Keeping You Cool
Look up and spot our ETFE roofs throughout Universal Studios Singapore! These innovative structures keep you cool by blocking up to 80% of heat radiation, all while reducing cooling energy needs.
