Universal Studios Singapore
Probably the best theme park in the region, with multiple TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards to show, Universal Studios Singapore has rides, shows and themed elements for a whole day of fun. If you are here with the young ones, you will want to join the famous ogre in an immersive animated show Shrek 4-D Adventure, hop on the world’s first Puss in Boots’ Giant Journey roller coaster, or maybe even go on an unforgettable boat ride on Madagascar: A Crate Adventure. And more! There’s plenty of fun to be had as a family.
You will be amazed by the wonders of the underwater world at S.E.A. Aquarium, one of the world’s largest aquarium. Get exposed to over 100,000 marine animals from 800 species including sharks and rays, and learn interesting facts about them. You can even hold some of them at dedicate touch pool. It will be an eye-opening, memorable experience for both children and parent, and a great place to start a child’s interest into the mysterious world under the sea.
Adventure Cove Waterpark
Who doesn’t love frolicking in water, especially in tropical Singapore? At Adventure Cove Waterpark, you get take on high-speed water slides, ride the waves, attempt water-based challenges and more. As a family, you could wade in amongst rays, snorkel with 20,000 fish, or even take a leisurely adventure along a river. There’s plenty of wild, wet fun to be had, for children and thrill seekers alike.
Even the young ones get to experience flying, at Singapore’s indoor skydiving wind tunnel. At a minimum age of just 7 years old, you and your children can experience the thrill of falling through the air from 12,000 to 3,000 feet, with the guidance of qualified instructors and inside the safe confines of the wind tunnel.
An 81,000 square feet of indoor play space designed for kids where they get to play a list of different roles. From piloting an airplane to cooking a dish as a chef, the children will earn KidZania’s very own currency from the tasks they do, and ones which they can use to purchase goods and services. A great place for kids to learn independence, confidence and responsibility. Sorry, but adults will not get to play in this kid-sized city.
Mega Adventure Park
There are 4 Mega-activities you can do here, and they are all perfect for the thrill-seeking family. There’s the MegaZip, a flying fox that sends you 450m above the trees and beaches of the island (both day and night experiences available); MegaJump, where you jump off from a 15m high platform; MegaClimb, a 36-obstacle treetop ropes course; and MegaWall where budding rock climbers get to test their limits.
Skyline Luge Sentosa
Race other family members down two different trails on the gravity-based luge ride vehicles, during the day or at night. Younger kids can ride with parents, while the plucky ones would want to get their own vehicle, so they can choose how fast they’d go. At the bottom of each course, board Skyride chairlift for a bird’s eye view of the surrounding landscape. Once back on top, it is time for another go on the luge.
Palawan Pirate Ship
Previously known as the Port of Lost Wonder, this pirate-themed water playground will thrill children 3 to 10 years old with all sorts of water play. Parents can join their children and get themselves fired upon by water cannons! The space can also be booked for children’s parties. A great escape from the sun for a bit.
Equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia technology from Japan, MOSH! lets children to be adventurous and create worlds from their imagination. From having their drawings projected on digital aquarium to creating ‘fireworks’ through jumping on an interactive dance floor, the activities will be a fun way for you to spend a few hours with the children. Will appeal to the younger ‘uns.
