Safe Management Measures: Protecting your Well-being

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back to Resorts World Sentosa. But what will mean even more to us than your smiles will be the knowledge that your time here will be as safe as it is memorable.

Our SG Clean certification – a recognition by the Singapore Government – is a testament of the initiatives that we’ve put into place. Over and above, we’ve embraced Safe Entry, Safe Experience and Safe Environment as our three principles, taking every safety measure necessary from systems for screening and contact tracing, safe distancing rules and hygiene safeguards, to new cleaning technology and disinfection protocols, so you can have full peace of mind during your visit. 

Read on for details about the Safe Management Measures that will keep you safe throughout your experience at our attractions, hotels and F&B outlets.

1. Before you arrive
Learn about measures in place to ensure your safety below. Once you’ve decided on a date for your perfect getaway, book tickets for Universal Studios Singapore here, and S.E.A. Aquarium here.

If you’re holding the Annual or Season Pass or selected tickets, we require you to make a reservation for your visit here. This helps us ensure there’s space for everyone. 

Your safety remains our top priority and we request that you visit the park only after you receive a confirmation of your reservation.

2. When you’re entering the attraction
Keep your face mask on at all times throughout your experience. Expect mandatory temperature screenings before entry and check-in via SafeEntry QR code scan. Now you’re ready to have a good time.

3. Once you’re inside
Please keep to a group of 5 or less and maintain physical distancing. Don’t worry, signages, floor markers and even Safe Distancing Ambassadors will offer friendly reminders.

4. Additional measures for Adventure Cove Waterpark
Remember to keep your mask on at all times except when eating, drinking or enjoying water activities. When you enter the water, please stay at least 3m away from others. Please note that no more than 5 individuals are allowed in each cabana, and that you may not mingle with guests from other cabanas. In addition, no smoking is allowed in the cabanas. Should you feel unwell while in Adventure Cove Waterpark, please approach any of our team members immediately.

5. Sanitise your hands often 
We have installed sanitising gel dispensers at various locations throughout the attraction for your convenience.

6. Getting a snack or a memento?
Pay the contactless way at all our F&B and retail counters and minimise contact with cash.

7. After a fun day
Remember to check out via SafeEntry QR code scan as you leave to facilitate contact tracing, if necessary. See you again!

1. Before you arrive 
Be assured that we have done all we can to ensure that the team members serving you are themselves well – measures include mandatory temperature screenings and split team arrangements.

We have ensured that your dining environment is safe too. We clean and disinfect tables, chairs, serving trays, wine buckets and all high-touch points like menu tablets after every dining session. Finally, we perform deep cleaning of restaurants, kitchens and washrooms every single day. 

2. Reserving a table 
If you’ve chosen to dine at a restaurant, we encourage you to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. (Not required for Malaysian Food Street) You can either choose the first or second meal seating. 

3. When you arrive
To ensure everyone’s safety, we’ll require you to check in via SafeEntry QR code scan and have your temperature taken. Remember to maintain your physical distance at the entrance queue. Let floor markers serve as a guide. Please protect yourself by keeping your mask on at all times except when eating and drinking.
4. As you take your seat
Be assured that you’re well protected. Some of the safe distancing measures you may see are the use of enhanced safe distancing partitions (like table dividers and table-top shields) or tables being spaced at least 1m apart.

Tables accommodate a maximum of five guests and all seats comply with safe distancing guidelines.

For more assurance, you can order through menu tablets with screen protectors. All food will be prepared safely by a team wearing spit guards and gloves.

5. When your food arrives
Dine in peace of mind, knowing that food is served covered and in individual portions. Cutlery is only provided when you sit down, for safety. 

For your convenience, we’ve also installed automatic hand sanitiser dispensers at all high-touch points and entry points so you can dine without worries. Bon Appétit!

6. After your wonderful dining experience 
Contactless payment options are available and encouraged. Remember to check out via SafeEntry QR code scan as you leave to facilitate contact tracing. See you again!

1. Before you arrive 
Know that we take your safety seriously. This is why we disinfect all incoming and outgoing items. We also disinfect public areas every 30 minutes. 

To help expedite your check-in process, please provide your passport identification details when you make your reservations.

In addition, we’d like to inform you that we’re certified SG Clean by the government. This is a testament of the safety initiatives that we’ve put into place for your benefit. 

2. As you arrive at the hotel
To protect everyone, we require you to scan the SafeEntry QR code and have your temperature taken at the hotel entrance.

We have implemented staggered check-ins for safe distancing, so it is compulsory to specify your preferred slots after making payment for your booking online. Please follow the check-in time assigned strictly.
Once you have checked in, you will receive your disinfected room key.

While at the reception, we’ll require you to maintain your physical distancing. Follow the guidelines on the signages and floor markers. 
Should you need them, hand sanitisers can be found in the lobby, reception area and lift landing. 

3. When you reach the room
You’ll be happy to know that rooms have all undergone 3-step disinfection. We’re even enhancing air purity in three steps: 600 air ionisers installed resort-wide generate virus-killing ions, HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters trap 95% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, and UV-C treatment kills viruses passing through its light rays. We also perform high-temperature laundering on all hotel linen. Feel free to rest without worries! 

4. After your wonderful stay
Remember to check out via SafeEntry QR code scan as you leave to facilitate contact tracing, if necessary. We’ll also perform express check-out for you. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay!

Since then, we are proud to have received the SG Clean certification from the Singapore Government, recognising our full commitment towards upholding the highest standards of sanitisation and hygiene across the resort. This certification applies to all our venues, namely, our attractions, hotels, restaurants, casino, retail outlets and convention centre.
