Crew, Attractions Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the safe operation of rides, shows and attractions.
  • Assist guests with directions and information.
  • Respond to guest situations and speak to large groups when required.
  • Push down lap bars, lock down harnesses and ensure seat belts are securely fastened for guests.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
     

Requirements:

  • GCE N/O/A Levels, ITE Certificate or Diploma.
  • Operations experience is an advantage.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to stand for long hours and work in an environment where there can be hot, humid and wet weather.
     
Crew, Attractions Guest Experience & Ticketing  

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all redemptions, ticket sales and various department initiatives are performed in accordance with the defined procedures.
  • Attend to guests’ feedback and render appropriate service recovery whenever applicable.
  • Perform membership sales, processing and relationship duties at the various stations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, and perform administration duties as assigned.
  • Interact with guests with a fun and cheerful disposition; disseminate information related to the park and rides.
     

Requirements: 

  • GCE N/O/A Levels, ITE Certificate or Diploma.
  • Relevant experience in service role preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to stand for long hours and work in an environment where there can be hot, humid and wet weather.
     
Crew, Attractions Park Ambassadors 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide welcome admission experience at turnstiles and ensure guests have valid ticket types for admission into the parks.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experience by assisting guests with park information and engaging them with fun activities.
  • Ensure the show readiness of the parks.
  • Perform various administrative duties and ad hoc assignments.
  • Maintain the park cleanliness (including restrooms).
     

Requirements:

  • GCE N/O/A Levels, ITE Certificate or Diploma.
  • Those with secondary education and the right attitude will be considered.
  • Service oriented and enjoys interacting with people.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to stand for long hours and work in an environment where there can be hot, humid and wet weather.
     
Crew, SEAA Operations & Events

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service by observing safety protocol and upholding service standards.
  • Inform guests of event activities and provide direction as needed.
  • Assist with crowd management and event setup.
  • Handle crowd control equipment before, during and after the event.
     

Requirements:

  • GCE N/O/A Levels, ITE Certificate or Diploma.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests and colleagues.
  • Able to interact and engage guest in a favorable manner in both positive and negative situations.
  • Able to withstand extended walking and long standing when deployed. 
  • Able to assist with some heavy lifting when needed.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends, public holidays and work in an outdoor environment.
     
Crew, VIP Tours & Programmes

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute VIP tours for guests of Universal Studios Singapore (USS) and S.E.A. Aquarium (SEAA). 
  • Provide history and information to guests about the parks as well as the resort, including specifics related to attractions, facades, and show items.
  • Interact with SEAA VIP and other SEAA programme guests by sharing knowledge about marine animals and their habitats.
  • Work with other Business Units to ensure seamless transition during the tour including reservations for show and/or restaurants, VIP access to attractions during the tour, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Facilitate various themed public programmes including overnight camps where applicable.
     

Requirements:

  • GCE N/O/A Levels, ITE Certificate or Diploma.
  • Experience in service industry, passion to serve guests and some presentation skills will be an advantage.
  • Must be proficient in English. Knowledge of a second language is preferred.  
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to stand for long hours and work in an environment where there can be hot, humid and wet weather.
     
Costume Specialist 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor costumes and maintain/request for maintenance as appropriate (includes hand washing, dry cleaning etc).
  • Handle day-to-day washing, drying and steam ironing of costume pieces and inner wear.
  • Render costume issuance services to support Show Experience productions. Services include quick change, preset and standard wardrobe track duties.
  • Provide team members with accurate information so as to facilitate informed maintenance or service decisions.
  • Rectify and repair costumes, props and accessories as directed, to maintain the production quality of shows.
     

Requirements:

  • Related experience in the following industries is preferred: theatrical, film or television.
  • Good knowledge of costume etiquette including backstage and fitting protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of laundry and the ability to execute and use commercial machines preferred.
  • Proven knowledge in fabric handling and maintenance is preferred.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
     
Costume Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and modify costumes, props and accessories to maintain the production quality of shows.
  • Provide team members with accurate information to facilitate proper maintenance and service decisions.
  • Coach team members in equipment operations, dressing and handling.
  • Assist Costume Manager in planning small-scale shows or events. 
     

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent trade certification preferred.
  • Minimum two years of related experience in the following industries is preferred: theatrical, film or television or theme park.
  • Good knowledge of backstage etiquette, good painting techniques and carpentry skills.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
     
Retail Sales Associate 

Responsibilities

  • Upsell merchandise to generate additional revenue.
  • Promote merchandise and perform cashiering duties.
  • Perform price tagging, stock taking, stock replenishment and housekeeping.
     

Requirements:

  • GCE N/O/A Levels, ITE Certificate or Diploma.
  • Possesses basic computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
     
Star Guide

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee performers during sets to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experience by assisting guests with park information. 
  • Support Star Guide Supervisors and Stage Managers with daily venue management and coordination.
  • Coach new team members on standard procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in the dressing up/down of performers, ensuring that the characters’ appearance adheres to IP standards.
     

Requirements:

  • Diploma or relevant WSQ equivalent certification.
  • Minimum two years of experience in the service industry. 
  • Those without prior experience is welcome to apply.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
     
Technician (Audio, Video, Lighting, Rigging/Stage) 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the supervision of set-up, tear down, transport and storage of technical equipment.
  • Independently programme and operate one or more technical equipment and systems* during medium to large scale technical rehearsals, events and shows.
  • Independently operate two additional technical equipment and systems* during small to medium scale technical rehearsals, events and shows.
  • Maintain and carry out specialist repairs in ONE or more disciplines of equipment and systems as directed by the Supervisors and Managers.
  • Ensure all aspects of RWS safety policies are strictly adhered to.  Attend safety training courses and consistently adhere to workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines.
  • Generate show reports and assist in other duties when required.

Requirements:

  • Candidate with Diploma or WSQ Equivalent: 1-2 years of related industry experience required.
  • Candidate without Diploma or WSQ Equivalent: 3-4 years of related industry experience required.
  • Willing to perform shift work and flexible to variations in working hours

* Entertainment equipment and systems include: Staging, Lighting, Sound, Audio-visual, Rigging, Show Control and Automation.

Lifeguard, Adventure Cove Waterpark    

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the well-being and safety of our Guests & Team Members by providing a high standard of aquatic safety and exemplary guest services.
  • Participate in regular in-service training to provide fun/friendly customer service experience and enforce the park’s policies, attractions safety rules and regulations.
  • Interact with guests, disseminate information related to the park and rides.
  • Operate and dispatch guests safely at various rides and slides.
  • Assist in engaging guests during special events within the park from time to time, to provide memorable and fun customer service.
  • Recognise and respond effectively in emergency situations to ensure that injuries/casualties are minimized and aid is promptly rendered.
     

Requirements:

  • GCE N/O/A Levels or ITE Certificate
  • Bronze Medallion and/or Lifesaving 123 certification.
  • Valid CPR Certification.
  • Good guest service and communication skills.
  • Strong observational skills to proactively identify guest needs and monitor safety guidelines.
  • Attentive and keen eye for surroundings to identify safety risk situations.
  • Able to employ personal empowerment, empathy and creativity to resolve guest concerns or complaints.
  • Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during weekends and public holidays.
  • Required to occasionally lift and/or move objects/tools of varying weights.
  • 1 year of operations experience preferred.
