Where can I buy tickets to Universal Studios Singapore?
Presently, purchase of tickets are both onsite and online at www.rwsentosa.com. Please visit our website regularly for updates on ticket sales.
Can I buy tickets on the day of my visit?
Yes, but do note that tickets are subject to availability. You may book online from our website www.rwsentosa.com. It is also advisable to check our “Plan Your Visit” page for the park’s operating hours on the day of your visit.
Are there extra charges for any of the attractions inside Universal Studios Singapore?
All attractions are included in your admission ticket.
Tell me more about Universal Express Pass and Universal Express Unlimited Pass.
Holders of either Pass may skip the queue at select attractions and proceed to the Express Lane. The regular Pass allows you to do this once at every participating attraction, while the Unlimited Pass lets you do it as many times as you wish. Prices for both passes vary and start from SGD40 for regular and SGD70 for Unlimited.
Where can I purchase the Universal Express Pass and Universal Express Unlimited Pass?
Both are available from our website, or onsite when you purchase your admission ticket.
Are tickets transferable?
Tickets are not transferable and must be used by the same person throughout the day.
Are tickets refundable?
We regret that tickets sold are non-refundable, even in cases of inclement weather.
I lost my ticket(s)/ I forgot the confirmation number of my ticket(s). Is there a way to retrieve it?
For tickets purchased online, please visit the Guest Services with the relevant credit/debit card and photo ID for verification.
Can I re-enter Universal Studios Singapore after leaving?
Your admission ticket is valid for an entire day. Please obtain a re-entry hand stamp upon exit. A valid stamp and ticket must be presented for re-entry. For special events, Terms and Conditions apply.
What is the purpose of the facial recognition system?
Resorts World Sentosa has implemented facial recognition at Universal Studios Singapore as part of our resort-wide transformation to enhance the guest experience through new technology and innovation.
Facial recognition is a biometric technology that reduces our reliance on manual validation of admission tickets and speeds up the process of verifying our guests at various visitor touch points. It is among our latest innovation efforts to provide a more efficient and seamless experience for our guests to enjoy our exciting products and offerings.
How does the facial recognition system benefit Guests?
After registering the digital image of their faces at the theme park, Universal Studios Singapore Annual and Season Passholders can authenticate their facial images through facial recognition technology. This allows Passholders to enter, exit or re-enter the theme park at greater ease and speed without the need to produce their physical passes. For the same convenience, guests with day admission tickets will have a digital image of their faces registered at the ticket gantry while concurrently scanning their admission tickets.
How will you ensure my privacy by scanning and storing my facial image?
Resorts World Sentosa is fully committed to protecting the personal data and privacy of our guests. We would like to assure you that facial images are used only for the purposes of access management, personalised guest experience, operational improvement, safety and security. Our facial recognition platform is securely hosted within Resorts World Sentosa and the personal data of our guests are safeguarded and kept strictly confidential.
Are there alternatives to facial recognition technology to enter and exit the theme park?
Facial recognition is now an essential part of the admission process to Universal Studios Singapore. Guests who have queries or concerns can approach our Guests Services located at the park entrance for assistance.

Why do I need to make advanced reservation when I have already purchased a ticket or holding Annual or Season Pass?
As a SG Clean accredited organisation, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has implemented enhanced safe management measures to ensure guests and team members are protected every step of the visitor journey.
Among the measures is an advanced reservation system where Annual or Season Passholders and guests with attraction tickets are required to make reservation at https://sdm.rwsentosa.com prior to visiting the park.
Advanced reservation is also applicable to tickets purchased from resellers, online platforms or Travel Agents. For guests holding on to reseller vouchers, redemption of tickets will be available at ticketing booths subject to availability on the same day. Guests are required to adhere to safe management measures at all times.
Can I make a reservation through the ticketing booth or call centre?
Reservation is only available online at https://sdm.rwsentosa.com currently.
How many reservations can I make at one time?
Please note that we allow only one reservation for one day at any one time. Passholders may not make another reservation until after 11.59pm of the day you have already reserved. Multipark Passholders/Ticket holders can make one reservation per park at any one time.
How many guests can I register on behalf of for the reservation? Is there a limit to the group size?
The total number of guests per booking is limited to 10, including yourself. Each accompanying guests will need to register with a valid Ticket ID or Pass ID. However, when visiting the park, a maximum of only 2 pax per group is allowed.
Can I make a reservation without purchasing a ticket?
No, you will not be able to make a reservation without a valid ticket or pass.
If you do not hold a ticket, you may purchase tickets at www.rwsentosa.com. Tickets are limited daily and on first-come first-served basis.
What happens if I cannot make it on the day that I have made a reservation for?
Tickets used to make reservations will be deemed as used and cannot be reused to make another reservation.
For “no-show” by Passholders, the next reservation can only be made again after 3 days from the “no-show” date, subject to availability.
If you require assistance regarding your reservations, please contact us via enquiry form at least 2 days in advance.
Is a reservation required for children below the age of 4 years old?
For children below 4 years old, reservations will not be required. However, entry to the park is subject to enhanced safe management measures.
Is there a time frame as to when my reservations will be released? How long will you hold my reservations?
Reservations will be kept until the end of the operating hours of the visit date.
Will I be allowed entry if I did not bring my ticket despite having made a reservation?
No. Physical ticket must be presented and scanned for entry into the parks.
Will I be able to enter the park if I brought a ticket which is not registered for advanced reservation?
No. You will only be able to enter the park with the corresponding ticket for which the reservation is made.
Is my entry to the park guaranteed if I already have an e-ticket or advanced reservation for that day?
Yes. Our daily capacity limit is controlled at the point of ticket sales and reservations. Do be advised that for all ticket types, reservation is a must to guarantee entry. Please take note that due to stricter safe management measures, delays may be experienced at park entrances.
Do I need to make a reservation if I want to renew my Annual or Season Pass?
Renewal of Annual or Season Pass will be temporarily suspended during this period. However, you may continue to enjoy the membership benefits until the expiry of your pass. For updates on the Annual or Season Pass, please visit our website for the latest information.
How many guests are allowed on VIP tours?
The tour can accommodate up to 6 participants, with a maximum of 2 participants per sub-group within each tour (toddlers included).
I am an Annual or Season Passholder. Is there any extension due to the park closure?
Passholders whose passes have expired are eligible for an extension. The number of days extended will be equivalent to the period from the date on which park operations were suspended to our reopening date.
What do I need to do for the extension of my Annual or Season Pass?
No action is required on your part. The extension will be updated automatically in our system. You may continue to use your existing card to enjoy membership benefits.
Can I sign up for the Attractions Annual / Season Passes?
All sales and renewal of Attractions Annual and Season Passes are temporarily suspended until further notice.
Why do I have to select a time slot to visit Universal Studios Singapore?
Passholders are required to make advanced reservations with time slots for entry to help us to stagger entry flow and prevent overcrowding at all times. This is part of our Safe Management Measures to ensure the safety of all our guests and Team Members during your visit to Universal Studios Singapore.
I tried booking for a 2pm entry time slot but it was full. Can I book the 5pm time slot and come earlier instead?
Passholders will only be allowed entry from the time slot they have booked for. If you have selected the 5pm time slot, you can only enter the park after 5pm. This will also be indicated clearly on your confirmation email.
How much time can I spend in the park if I select the earlier time slot?
You may stay in the park as long as you like, until the park is closed.
What should I wear to Universal Studios Singapore?
For the best experience, you are advised to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You may wish to bring along a spare set of clothes* as you may get wet at select attractions. Please be properly clothed at all times. No costumes or full-faced masks are allowed inside the park.
*Lockers are available for storage; charges apply.

Will Universal Studios Singapore be closed during thunderstorms?
Outdoor attractions may close temporarily in the event of lightning risk.
Will I be refunded should Universal Studios Singapore be closed due to bad weather?
As Universal Studios Singapore does not close for inclement weather, tickets will be non-refundable.
What are the preferred methods of payment inside Universal Studios Singapore?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, NETS, China Union Pay (CUP), Alipay, RWS Gift Vouchers, Entertainment Vouchers, Genting Dollars and Invites Dollars. However contactless payment is preferred.
Are there lockers available for rent?
Lockers are conveniently located throughout the park; charges apply. For luggage storage, you may wish to use the bigger lockers at the park entrance. Oversized luggage may be stored at the Rental Services counter for SGD35 per item during park operating hours. Free use of lockers for loose articles is available for the duration of each ride (including waiting time) at Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON* and Revenge of the Mummy, after which regular charges apply.
I have lost an item. What should I do?
Please approach a team member at the location where you last left the item and ask for assistance. You can also visit the Guest Services to ask about your item(s). Resorts World Sentosa and Universal Studios Singapore assume no responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged articles.
What should I do if I feel unwell?
Please approach any team member for assistance. First Aid is available within the park.
Are there age, height or weight restrictions for the attractions in the theme park?
Please check the Rider’s Guide for more information on height, weight and/or health restrictions for various attractions. You may pick up the Rider’s Guide at the Guest Services located inside the park entrance.
Are there facilities for the handicapped?
At Universal Studios Singapore we strive to create an environment that is accessible to everyone, including guests with disabilities. A Rider’s Guide is available at Guest Services, which explains boarding procedures and specific information related to each attraction. Additionally, all restaurants, stores, toilets, lockers and common areas are accessible to guests using wheelchairs.
Can I shower in the park?
There are no shower facilities for guests in the park.
Where may I rent strollers in the park?
Stroller rentals are available near the park entrance at the rate of SGD15 (infant/single) and SGD20 (double). Annual Pass holders enjoy a SGD5 discount.
Is there a nursing room in the park?
Yes. Our Baby Centre is located inside the Membership Lobby inside the park entrance.
Tell me more about the Game Booths located at Sci-fi City™ zone of Universal Studios Singapore.
Three game booths are available at the Sci-fi City™ zone of Universal Studios Singapore to provide our guests with carnival games. Each booth has a distinct game concept - Meteor Smash, Astronaut Tubs and Cosmic Rings.
What time do the game booths open and close?
The game booths will remain open throughout Universal Studios Singapore’s park operating hours, and are subject to change without prior notice.
Are there charges to play these games?
Yes, the charges are $10 for 2 coupons and $20 for 5 coupons.
Where can I purchase the coupons to play the games?
Coupons are available for purchase onsite at the game booths.
What are the preferred methods of payment?
We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards.
Are coupons refundable?
We regret that coupons sold are non-refundable, even in cases of inclement weather.
Will Game Booths be closed during thunderstorms?
Game Booths may close temporarily in the event of lightning risk.
How do we play the game and win the prize(s)?
For Meteor Smash: Throw pouch to knock down all bottles. Bottles must be knocked completely off the pedestal to win.
For Astronaut Tubs: Throw ball into the bucket. Ball must remain in the bucket to win.
For Cosmic Rings: Roll ball into the valley. Ball has to stay in the valley to be considered as a win.

Is it possible for parties and conventions to be held in the park?
Yes, please contact our MICE Sales Representatives at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will customise a package for you.
Can I bring food and drinks into the park?
With such an abundance of food options available at Universal Studios Singapore we kindly ask that our guests not bring food and drinks from outside the park.
Where can I store my food and drinks I brought in from outside the park?
Lockers are available outside the park and may be reopened multiple times within the hire period; charges apply.
Are there photography restrictions within the park?
Photography and videography are permitted, but not while experiencing the attractions. Production cameras and drones are not allowed inside the park. For enquiries on wedding photography please email in to VIPExperience@RWSentosa.com.
Can I bring my pets to the park?
Other than service animals for the visually impaired, no pets are allowed within the premises.
Is smoking allowed in the park?
Designated smoking areas are indicated in our Studio Guide. Please ask any team member for assistance with directions.
Am I allowed to bring in a skate-scooter?
Only Electric Convenience Vehicles are permitted inside the park.
Where is Universal Studios Singapore?
Universal Studios Singapore is located on Sentosa Island. Guests visiting Universal Studios Singapore can get to Sentosa via several ways:
- By Walking:
Guests can opt for a leisurely 10 minutes stroll into Sentosa via the Sentosa Boardwalk. Admission into the island is SGD1 per entry by this mode of entry. After passing through the gantries, look out for signs pinpointing Adventure Cove Waterpark’s location.
- By Buses:
RWS 8 is a public bus service which will bring guests directly into Resorts World for a SGD2 fee (Guests need not pay for the island admission if they are entering Sentosa via RWS 8). The disembarkation point would be outside the RWS Casino. There are two boarding locations for the bus (outside of Vivo City, and Merill Lynch Building).
- By Sentosa Express:
Sentosa Express is located on Level 3 of Vivo City. Guests are required to pay SGD4 for this mode of admission. The Sentosa Express Tickets can be bought at the Sentosa counters located right outside the Sentosa Express gantries.
- By Car:
If you enter via RWS B1 car park, only car park charges apply.
If you enter via Sentosa gantry, Sentosa Island admission and car park charges apply.
From now till 30 September 2021, visitors will enjoy free admission to Sentosa island via boardwalk, Sentosa Express and car.
