General FAQs

Where is S.E.A. Aquarium located?
S.E.A. Aquarium is located in Resorts World Sentosa, within Sentosa Island.

How and where can I buy S.E.A. Aquarium tickets?
Presently, purchase of tickets are both onsite and online at Please visit our website regularly for updates on ticket sales.

Can I buy tickets on the day of my visit?
Yes, but do note that tickets are subject to availability. You may purchase onsite or book online from our website It is also advisable to check our “Plan Your Visit” page for the park’s operating hours on the day of your visit.
Are tickets transferable?
Tickets are not transferable and must be used by the same person throughout the day.

Are tickets refundable?
We regret to inform you that tickets sold are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

I lost my ticket(s) and I forgot the confirmation number of my ticket(s). Is there a way to retrieve it?
For tickets purchased online, please visit the Guest Services with the relevant credit/debit card and photo ID for verification.

Can I leave and re-enter S.E.A. Aquarium?
S.E.A. Aquarium admission is valid for an entire day. If you need to leave S.E.A. Aquarium, please get a hand stamp at the exit. A valid hand stamp and ticket are required for same day re-entry.


Do I need to be vaccinated to enter the attractions?
Only fully vaccinated guests, children aged 12 and below, and guests who have either recovered from COVID-19 or have a valid negative pre-event test (PET) result may enter. The negative PET result must be valid until the attraction’s closing time on the day of visit to be used to gain admission.   


What is the maximum group size?
The number of guests per group will be no more than the maximum allowed by current government restrictions.

Is there a time limit to my stay within the park?
Guests may stay in the park for as long as the park is open if they are fully vaccinated, are children aged 12 and below, have recovered from COVID-19, or have a valid negative pre-event test (PET) result. The negative PET test result must be valid until the park’s closing time on the day of visit.


Advanced Reservations

Why do I need to make advanced reservation when I have already purchased a ticket or holding Annual or Season Pass? 

As a SG Clean accredited organisation, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has implemented enhanced safe management measures to ensure guests and team members are protected every step of the visitor journey.  

Among the measures is an advanced reservation system where Annual or Season Passholders and guests with attraction tickets are required to make reservation at prior to visiting the park:

Advanced reservation is also applicable to tickets purchased from resellers, online platforms or Travel Agents. For guests holding on to reseller vouchers, redemption of tickets will be available at ticketing booths subject to availability on the same day. Guests are required to adhere to safe management measures at all times.

How do I know if there are availability on the Advanced Reservation website?
The availability will be clearly indicated on the website and you will be prompted to select a different date if it is fully booked. 

Can I make a reservation through the ticketing booth or call centre?
Reservation is only available online at currently. 

How many reservations can I make at one time?
Please note that we allow only one reservation for one day at any one time. Passholders may not make another reservation until after 11.59pm of the day you have already reserved. Multipark Passholders/Ticket holders can make one reservation per park at any one time.

How many guests can I register on behalf of for the reservation? 
The total number of guests per booking is limited to 10, including yourself.  Each accompanying guests will need to register with a valid Ticket ID or Pass ID.

Can I make a reservation without purchasing a ticket?
No, you will not be able to make a reservation without a valid ticket or pass.

If you do not hold a ticket, you may purchase tickets at Tickets are limited daily and on first-come first-served basis. Tickets purchased on RWS website from 30 June 2020, 8am will be dated and do not require advanced reservations.

What happens if I cannot make it on the day that I’ve made reservation?
Tickets used to make reservations will be deemed as used and cannot be reused to make another reservation. 

For “no-show” by Passholders, the next reservation can only be made again after 3 days from the “no-show” date, subject to availability. 

If you require assistance regarding your reservations, please contact us via enquiry form at least 2 days in advance.

Is a reservation required for children below the age of 4 years old?
For children below 4 years old, reservations will not be required. However, entry to the park is subject to enhanced safe management measures. 

Is there a time frame as to when my reservations will be released? How long will you hold my reservations?
Reservations will be kept until the end of the operating hours of the visit date. 

Will I be allowed entry if I did not bring my ticket despite having made a reservation? 
No. Physical ticket or e-ticket must be presented and scanned for entry into the parks.

Will I be able to enter the park if I brought a ticket which is not registered for advanced reservation? 
No. You will only be able to enter the park with the corresponding ticket for which the reservation is made. 

Do I need to make a reservation if I want to renew my Annual or Season Pass?
Renewal of Annual or Season Pass will be temporarily suspended during this period. However, you may continue to enjoy the membership benefits until the expiry of your pass. For updates on the Annual or Season Pass, please visit our website for the latest information. 

Annual or Season Pass

I am an Annual or Season Passholder. Is there any extension due to the park closure?
Passholders whose Universal Studios Singapore or S.E.A. Aquarium Passes expire from 6 April 2020 and Adventure Cove Waterpark Passes expire from 18 March 2020 onwards are eligible for the extension. The number of days extended will be equivalent to the period from the date on which park operations were suspended to our reopening date

For illustration purposes, assuming that the park is closed on 6 April 2020 and reopens on 5 July 2020, a total of 90 days will be added to your membership. If you are holding on to an Annual or Season Pass which expires on 30 September 2020, total closure of 90 days will be added on to your pass and your new expiry date will be 29 December 2020. 

What do I need to do for the extension of my Annual or Season Pass?
No action is required on your part. The extension will be updated automatically in our system. You may continue to use your existing card to enjoy membership benefits.

I have not received my Annual or Season Pass after sending in the application. How do I collect my card and what will happen to my expiry date?
No action is required on your part. The extension will be updated automatically in our system. You may continue to use your existing card to enjoy membership benefits. If you have not collected your pass, an e-card will be sent to you via email when ready.

Inside S.E.A. Aquarium

What are the operating hours for S.E.A. Aquarium?
S.E.A. Aquarium operating hours vary based on the time of year and day of week. Please check on Visitor Information for details on your chosen day to visit. Do note that attraction operation hours are subject to change.

Will I be able to bring in food and drinks or eat and drink in S.E.A. Aquarium?
Please refrain from eating or drinking inside S.E.A. Aquarium, except at the designated food & beverage outlets. Outside food and beverages are strictly not permitted inside S.E.A. Aquarium, except Baby food, formulas and food for guests with special dietaries.
We offer a variety of fresh and delicious food for our guests to enjoy at our restaurant and quick bite corner in S.E.A. Aquarium. There is a restaurant (Ocean Restaurant) and quick bite corner (Ocean Bites) in the S.E.A. Aquarium. Please be advised that all bags and personal items are subject to inspection.

Are there any ATMs nearby?
ATMs are located outside S.E.A. Aquarium, along Festive Walk L2. Please ask any Resorts World Sentosa Team Member for more information.

What should I do if I feel unwell?
If you fall ill during your visit, you are encouraged to approach any Resorts World Sentosa Team Member for assistance.

What are the preferred modes of payment?
We accept only contactless payments.
Our preferred cards or digital wallets are Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners, JCB, Union Pay, NETS, GrabPay, WeChat Pay, Alipay, MPay, NETS Pay, PayNow, Singtel Dash, Genting Dollars, RWS Vouchers and RWS Invites$.

What should I do if I realised I lost something?
Please enquire about it with Resorts World Sentosa Team Members at the locations where you may have left it. You can also visit the Guest Services and inquire about your lost articles, or ask any of our Team Members for assistance. Resorts World Sentosa and S.E.A. Aquarium assume no responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged articles.

Are there nursing rooms within S.E.A. Aquarium?
There are two nursing rooms, located at B1 near the entrance and exit of S.E.A. Aquarium.

Is smoking allowed in S.E.A. Aquarium?
Smoking is not permitted inside S.E.A. Aquarium. Guests who wish to smoke may proceed to the designated smoking areas outside S.E.A. Aquarium. We urge guests to be considerate and observe the designated smoking areas.

Are there lockers within S.E.A. Aquarium?
Unfortunately lockers are not available in the S.E.A. Aquarium at this point in time. The lockers nearest to S.E.A. Aquarium are located at The Forum B1.

May I bring a stroller into S.E.A. Aquarium?
Yes. We recommend smaller strollers to navigate crowded areas more easily.

Are there strollers for rental?
There are no strollers for rent at this time.

Are there wheelchairs for rental?
S.E.A. Aquarium wheelchair is available for rental at B1 Guest Services (next to entrance escalator) with a registration of your name, contact number and a rental cost of SGD15. S.E.A. Aquarium Annual & Season Pass holders will be entitled to a SGD5 discount off. The wheelchair can only be used within the Aquarium. Do note that it is subject to availability and based on first-come-first-serve basis.

Is S.E.A. Aquarium accessible for the handicapped?
S.E.A. Aquarium offers barrier-free accessibility inside the attraction. Guests travelling in wheelchairs can access most of the routes in S.E.A. Aquarium. Ocean Dome can be accessed by the lift located along the back of the Open Ocean Habitat.

Am I allowed to take photographs within S.E.A. Aquarium?
Feel free to take as many pictures as you would like. For the comfort and safety of our animals we ask that you refrain from the use of flash photography.

Are pets and animals allowed within S.E.A. Aquarium?
No pets or animals are allowed within S.E.A. Aquarium, with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities.

Can I bring a school group here?
Yes. We offer several exciting educational programs at S.E.A. Aquarium. Educators who are interested in bringing your students to S.E.A. Aquarium can email

Are there any Gift Shops?
The gift shop is located near the exit of the S.E.A. Aquarium. Please ask any of our Resorts World Sentosa Team Member for more information.

Are there places to eat within the S.E.A. Aquarium?
Yes. Ocean Bites offers a wide variety of quick bites for the entire family who wishes to take a short break. For a sumptuous sit down meal, head down to Ocean Restaurant, located next to the Open Ocean Habitat.

Are there vegetarian options available in the S.E.A. Aquarium?
Yes. All our outlets offer a vegetarian choice and/or a healthy choice.

Are there Halal-certified restaurants within S.E.A. Aquarium?
There are no Halal-certified restaurants in S.E.A. Aquarium. Halal-certified dine-in options are available within Universal Studios Singapore (separate admission ticket required), at Malaysian Food Street, and at different outlets at The Forum.

Is it possible for parties and conventions to be held within S.E.A. Aquarium?

How long does it take to visit and view the entire S.E.A. Aquarium?
It takes approximately two hours, depending on the group size.

If I am a Guest in S.E.A. Aquarium, am I entitled to complimentary parking?
Complimentary parking does not apply for in-park guests.

How do I get to S.E.A. Aquarium?
S.E.A. Aquarium is located on Sentosa Island. Guests visiting S.E.A. Aquarium can get to Sentosa via several ways:

  • By Walking:
    Guests can opt for a leisurely 10 minutes stroll into Sentosa via the Sentosa Boardwalk.. After passing through the gantries, look out for signs pinpointing S.E.A. Aquarium’s location.

  • By Buses:
    RWS 8 is a public bus service which will bring guests directly into Resorts World Sentosa. The disembarkation point would be outside the RWS Casino. There are two boarding locations for the bus (outside of Vivo City, and Merill Lynch Building).

  • By Sentosa Express:
    Sentosa Express is located on Level 3 of Vivo City. 
  • By Car:
    If you enter via RWS B1 car park, only car park charges apply.
    If you enter via Sentosa gantry, Sentosa Island admission and car park charges apply.

From now till 31 December, visitors will enjoy free admission to Sentosa island via boardwalk, Sentosa Express and car.
