ChildAid charity concert 2009 — a sell-out success at Resorts World Sentosa
The year 2009 went out with a big bang for Resorts World. Opera singers, acapella vocalists, a full orchestra of more than 70 members as well as a percussion band were some of the acts that brought the house down at the ChildAid charity concert held between 19 and 21 Dec 2009, at Festive Grand theatre. Graced by guest-of-honour Singapore Press Holdings Chairman Dr Tony Tan, staff and performers were pumped up to deliver their best.

Guests got to pose with Universal Studios Singapore character mascots Shrek, Princess Fiona, and Marilyn Monroe before the show, while others filled up on hotdogs and delicious cupcakes. A sum of $1.015 million was raised by ChildAid 2009, to support the ST School Pocket Money Fund and The BT Budding Artists Fund.

Resorts World Sentosa expresses a big thank you to all invited guests, business partners, performers and members of the public for showing your support to the annual ChildAid event and making this possible.
