Resorts World Sentosa is in the business of bringing families closer and delighting our customers. We pride ourselves in developing a successful business built on ethical values, integrity and best practices.
Here are some of our efforts:
Resorts World recognizes workers' contributions
Construction workers who are building Resorts World at Sentosa were treated to a night of merry making at their dormitory on 23 August 2008.
The occasion was the resort's way of thanking the workers for their contributions at the work site. An evening of local food and movie screening was on the cards, and F&N and Nestle came in as sponsors for items in the workers' goodie bags.

workers celebration.
RWS Coral Conservation
According to the National Geographic, although coral reefs cover less than one percent of the ocean floor, they support an estimated 25 percent of all marine creatures.
In keeping with our blue footprint, in July 2007, RWS engaged marine biologists from appointed consultancy firm, DHI Water & Environment Singapore, to relocate corals and other marine life around the Sentosa northern coastline affected by reclamation works to Singapore’s Southern Islands.
Nature lovers may be pleased to know that a marine environmental survey done in 2008, a year after the corals were relocated, found the new reefs thriving in the Southern Islands.

Shark's Fin Policy
As part of Resorts World Sentosa’s commitment to marine conservation and research, shark's fin will not be on the menu at any restaurant in RWS when the resort opens in early 2010. Instead, alternatives to this traditional Asian delicacy will be offered.
We have joined hands with conservationists from WildAid and ACRES to roll out long-term public education programmes. Efforts such as the RWS Marine Life Fund, launched in May 2008, are part of our pledge to making a difference in the conservation of sharks and other marine life.
