Set for opening in early 2010, Resorts World at Sentosa will delight and dazzle families, diners and business and convention visitors with a huge range of attractions. In doing so, the resort will make corporate social responsibility (CSR) a cornerstone for developing a successful enterprise based on high ethical values, integrity and best practices.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility programme is inspired by our history, team members and corporate philosophy that guides our approach to corporate citizenship.
We believe in running a responsible business. This means being environmentally conscious, and involves outreach programmes to better the lives of children. Resorts World at Sentosa will also care for and develop its staff through work and play. Since its inception in Singapore, Resorts World at Sentosa has participated in various projects that benefit the community such as charity drives and environmental conservation projects.
Shark Fin Policy
As part of RWS' commitment to marine conservation and research, shark fin will not be on the menu at any restaurant in RWS when the resort opens in early 2010. Instead, alternatives to this traditional Asian delicacy will be offered.
| We have joined hands with conservationists from WildAid and ACRES to roll out long-term public education programmes. Efforts such as the RWS Marine Life Fund, launched in May 2008, are part of our pledge to making a difference in the conservation of sharks and other marine life.

RWS Coral Conservation
According to the National Geographic, although coral reefs cover less than one percent of the ocean floor, they support an estimated 25 percent of all marine creatures.
In keeping with our blue footprint, in July 2007,RWS engaged marine biologists from appointed consultancy firm, DHI Water & Environment Singapore, to relocate corals and other marine life around the Sentosa northern coastline affected by reclamation works to the Southern Islands.
After a year in their new homes, we are proud to share that the relocated corals are thriving beautifully.
